Hamilton Princess & Beach Club A Fairmont Managed Hotel, Hamilton City

I recently spent some time at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The location was beautiful, right by the harbor, and I can't say enough about how friendly the staff was. However, I found the service to be quite slow at times, and the dining options didn't live up to my expectations. While the amenities were nice, I felt the overall experience didn't justify the high price tag.

I had an amazing time at this hotel, from the breathtaking views at the infinity pool to the warm welcome from the staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though they felt a bit outdated. The dining experience was wonderful, especially at Marcus’ restaurant, and the amenities, including the beach club, were incredible. While the location was great for easy access to town, I did notice some areas were closed off due to the off-season. Overall, it’s a top-notch place for both relaxing and exploring.

However, the dining prices at the beach club were a bit steep for what you received, and the overall ambiance could be livelier, especially during quieter times.

While there was a musty odor in our room, the amenities and location made the experience worthwhile. The lounge offered great service, though the food could use improvement, and the value for elite members varied.
